Here in blogland I have been referring to my children as Kid One and Kid Two, so as not to reveal their true identities. But it's only right that I give credit where credit is due:
I got my inspiration, if you couldn't figure this out for yourselves, from the brilliant writing of Theodore Geisel, the one and only Dr. Seuss.
In "
The Cat in the Hat," Geisel wrote about Thing 1 and Thing 2, and those monikers always stuck in my mind.

I have to laugh, I call my kids Thing One and Thing Two (at home, not on my blog).
It's always better to be safe when talking about your family, but I always enjoy the Dr. Suess reference!
:-)
We had the same idea. ;-)
That's why I call my twins Lucy and Ethel ;-)
But you said you had considered Laverne and Shirley, right?
As long as they are not Thelma and Louise..
