I have a few more gnomes to share. Two of these four guys were hiding in the garage yesterday during our photo shoot but fortunately I was able to coax them outside today. They certainly do have minds of their own.
Will this picture also spark another deep philosophical discussion in blogland? I can only hope...

Why do they all look as if they just heard a funny joke or story? I especially like the look of the one on the left.

I too like the one on the left...probably because he seems so relaxed and is in a position that I frequently can be found in. So...where exactly do all these fellows (at least I assume gnomes are male) reside in or around your home when not posing?
yes, gnomes are male. I think.
They reside in various locations outside, and the small ones I protect by keeping them in the house.
On the male/female question, it reminds me of our daughter when she was real little. She called all of Snow White's dwarfs "she," except for Doc.
Seeing them makes me happy.
