Weird stuff out there

I have found that clicking on "next blog" can often be a disturbing exercise. Especially if you are a happily married, middle-aged mother of two teen-agers who doesn't know any people who are, for lack of a better word, scary.
Or maybe some people just strive to portray themselves as such in cyberspace to make themselves feel part of the edgy crowd.

But I suppose it's not a waste of time to see some of these blogs. It's a reminder that, as the saying goes, "it takes all kinds."
I just get the feeling some of these bloggers aren't too kind.

Don't mind me: It's a dreary Monday morning and I am not particularly motivated to do all the things that need to be done today.

OMG! I did the same thing. One day last week, I clicked on the "next blog" and was redirected to a porn site. While facinating what could be portrayed on the World Wide Web, I don't think that I'll be revisiting that particular web site again...I wonder, are you always redirected to the same blog everytime you click on "next blog"? After my last and only experience, I'm hesitant to click on it again.

No, I don't think you are redirected to the same blog...I keep getting different ones and many are in a foreign language that is not French, which I could understand,or Spanish, which I could muddle through.

I guess "whatever floats your boat" is the theme of blogging.

You guys are lucky you have a "Next blog" link to click on. My Navbar has a mind of its own...sometimes it appears at the top of my screen; sometimes it doesn't and it appears to be a local problem with my computer...maybe my Security settings. The folks at Blogger have ignored my requests for help so I'm just learning to live with (or without) it depending on the moment.

Joan, you are not missing much.

I think we've all had THAT experience!

If you end up on a...um, questionable blog, you can hit "back" quickly and then hit next blog again. It will take you to a different blog.

I usually find blogs to read by clicking on links on blogs I like because I tend to find "next blog" isn't always the best choice. Though I did find one very good blog that way, that's only one in a year in a half.
