October Orange

I shot this photo Wednesday (Oct. 15 ) to post on a blog for the newspaper. This beautiful tree is about a mile from our house, in a residential neighborhood.

I also photographed the tree on Oct. 4 - look how it changed in nine days!

Full disclosure: I didn't get out of the car either time. If I had, I might have been able to get a photo without telephone wires, but that's the way it goes.

The orange trees have been some of the most beautiful this year - those and the red ones.

All of the wires around here have really become a source of frustration for me when it comes to taking pictures. I can honestly say that I hate them because sometimes it doesn't matter whether you get out of the car or not - they're still in the way!!

Oh -and Amanda says that it's hard to get the wires out with PhotoShop unless you're really good at it - she said that she even has problems doing stuff like that. I wouldn't even dare to try it myself.
