Peace ... and hope

I don't think it was a coincidence that, on BlogBlast for Peace day yesterday, I suddenly found a beautiful quote from Emily Dickinson as I was working at my computer.
The quote was printed on the back of a small calendar from Easter Seals sitting in a pile on my desk. I hadn't noticed it before.
It is in keeping with the spirit of the day. It's about hope, and peace is something for which we all hope.

"Hope is the thing with feathers
that perches in the soul.
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all."

~ Emily Dickinson
