This is on our way home from the family Fourth of July get-together last Friday, on I-91 south in Connecticut.The fireworks display was cancelled, the rain was on and off all day, but we did see a pretty sunset on the ride home.
When we got closer to home on Route 15 rain started sprinkling the windshield and I got to capture this effect:

Apparently we were both doing the same thing on the way to the fireworks display...snapping photos! *LOL* Thankfully I was in the passenger seat and I got to capture some great shots. :)
Sorry your fireworks were canceled. Thankfully ours went on as planned. The rain stopped just before dark.
