Hey we got us some tomatoes! First of the season.
I picked these Monday morning and realized the photos are perfect for Ruby Tuesday.

I remember the days of growing tomatoes! It's wonderful to snack on them right off the vine. Enjoy them in good health!

Oh yum. Those look good enought to eat. LOL. We used to have a huge garden when I was growing up with lots and lots of tomato plants. Hated the caterpillars though. One thing I remember is tossing rotten tomatoes around and accidentally hitting my uncle on his bald head. Bless his heart, he never told my parents.

I love tomato sandwiches with cheese and onions (cooked onions) and honey dijon. Yummm...sprinkle alfalfa sprouts too!

I think I'll make one now. Thanks for the tomatoes. I'll just take one...What could be better than a virtual tomato sandwich?

My tomatoes are still green - wah! Yours are lovely and I'm sure that they make delicious sandwiches, too!

Home grown, the best kind. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, but that second photo made me want to reach out and have a nibble.

We've been harvesting lots of tomatoes, too. I didn't think to photograph them for Ruby Tuesday. Good idea!

And they won't have stuff on them that you will make you sick. Even though it wasn't the tomatoes that made people in the states sick. I need to start a container veg garden....

Dear Patti,
Best commercial I've sen in long time.
How I long for the taste of real, sungrown tomatoes.
The taste of childhood, Greece or Italy.
In ol' Norway we now only import colorless and tasteless hothouse tomatoes.
It's so sad that progress leads to cheap. low quality food.
