My Christmas cactus bloomed the other day! It was a lovely surprise. I had no idea if it would come back. I wasn't giving it any special treatment.That's my news.
If I treat it well, maybe someday it will grow up to look like the one above.(Woo hoo! I posted about minutia two days in a row. Although I'm sure some would say I post about minutia every day.)

strange isn't it. Christmas cold winter. Cactus hot, desert yet here we are blooming. what a plant. haha.
i think it is lovely! i can't grow many plants, a violet was my longest one and it is croaked now, poor little thing...

My Mom has Christmas cacti that always end up being Thanksgiving ones for some reason!
