I used to love Mentos...maybe that's why I need those little purple pills now...if they can do that to diet coke, what were they doing to my stomach? That video was very entertaining.

I've seen this too -- and I've also seen stories that say this is (*ahem) overblown.
The effects are overblown, that is.
Haven't attempted to replicate the experiment myself, though.
