Looking at the Sky ~ clouds at sunrise

I went out in the front yard to take photos of the sunrise last week. The kids at the bus stop nearby seemed to be wondering what I was doing. I felt like saying "just look at the beautiful cloud formations!" but I didn't.

hi patti..i just came to check your ruby tuesday and what a wonderful picture i saw here..
oh it is such a rare thing to see a sunrise on the computer taken by a blogger and not from google images.
how is it that it is so easy to photo a sunset?
i think the problem with me is that is am snoring away while the early sun shows its morning face.
i am way too lazy!
great picture patti...

Lovely sky. The clouds are far away dreams, leaving just before the day starts.

Haha! How cool that the kids were wondering what you were doing. It's usually the other way around, isn't it?

The sunrise is lovely!

Just beautiful, I miss sunrises now that we homeschool. They were a regular part of life when we had to shuttle the munchkin off on the bus. Maybe, just maybe, I'll have to set an alarm.

Lovely sky. It's good you captured it. I wish the kids did realized that you saw a very beautiful sky that morning.

Happy weekend, Patti!

You should have told them to look at the clouds; I bet they're so busy that most kids these days forget to look at the wonderful things to see in the sky.

I'm no good at the whole "sunrise" shot stuff unless it happens to be a day that I'm going into work for 7 a.m. and I remember to grab my camera; otherwise I'm much better at "sunsets"!
