Sepia scenes ~ fall foliage

I took this photo from the driver's seat on Halloween afternoon last year and posted the original (below) the next day. I thought it would look good in sepia, so I gave it a whirl.

Visit Mary T, our hostess, at Sepia Scenes to see many more sepia-fied photos.

And you were right, it does look good in sepia!

Hard to believe that time of the year is upon us again, isn't it??

Ditto! Looking good in sepia just as it looks good unedited :)

p/s: It was St Joseph's Institution (Boy's School) before they moved.
Now it has been converted to a museum :)

I love the texture that the sepia brings out! It looks great and very nostalgic!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, I should have my sepia scene posted tomorrow morning if you'd like to come by!

Patti, the shot is lovely in both sepia and color. thanks for understanding my distraction. We're waiting for a medical diagnosis for my husband...

oh I'm so glad you put up the original. Fall screams color. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.

Both lovely!
I like that you got that little reflection in your mirror.
The sepia brings out the shadows nicely.
The colors are changing here on a daily basis.

The autumn colors are even more beautiful in sepia.
Kind of adds a touch of melancholy and enhances the variations of light and shadows.
I still am not ta ease with the autumn being so eager to visit.
I've still got lots of outdoor work to do. Besides It's getting closer to the day I've finshed being in my 50ties.
I don't like it. The alternative is no good either.
So I'll have to use the days as best I can. They never come back.
