Ruby Tuesday ~ fall colors and seasonal riddles

On Saturday I found a few spots of red amongst the yellow berries winding their way through some forsythia in our side yard.
The picture wasn't too exciting, so I added some 'edge blur.' Ha ha.

This is through the windshield of Ralph's van..that's why it's not clear..but at least it's red. I decided not to be a perfectionist.

And below, another of those "burning bush" bushes in a 'vignette' view, as seen through the open passenger-side window:

To see many photos with a little or a lot of red in them, visit Mary T at Work of the Poet.

I just commented to Mary that nature had lots of rubies this time of year and you certainly found some.
Love the blurred effect on the first one and the last one is super!
Have a great Tuesday Patti!

I love how bittersweet looks yellow then opens up to reveal red. And the burning bush is stunning!

Ah, yes, it's burning bush season! Love those plants.

And the berry shot is cool - I like the yellow and the red, the combination of the whole shot.

I love your sense of humour. I am the same. Though clear photos get more attention than the blur ones, the blurry pictures can be taken ala Monet.

thanks for the visit.

LOL.

The edge blur on that first shot gives it a real through the looking glass feel.

I like the hedge, it's different shade of red makes it outstanding, I always like shrubs and trees when they are completely red.

Well, besides having me in stitches, I have to say those are cool effects. I'm so clueless about that stuff!

dear patti..thanks so much for your visit.
i see that you DO like red bushes!
there have been so many of them this fall and i just wish i had felt well enough this past week to just get out of the little red car and get closer shots of those beauties.
i am feeling better and so maybe we can get some better pictures when we take a little walk around in the next couple of days.
these that you took through ralph's car window are superb!
they are called the burning bush, eh patti?...although they have always made me think of that burning bush that moses saw in exodus, i never even imagined that they were called that.
that is really cool...
thanks again for your visit and your kind comments....love terry
