I'll worry about it when we reach agreement on what constitutes obese. I've seen tables that would classify Marilyn Monroe, in her prime, as "obese." Only marathon runners from Kenya aren't obese under these standards....

Oh and me? I'm just "mature." That's all. Not some callow youth, all stringbean-y and such. Hardly, however, obese.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Lynn: oh well. don't know if I will be around to see it happen - 30 years from now...shudder

Curm: I'm mature just like you. But not obese yet.

Odat: what did you eat that poisoned you?

Oh ... is that how that happened??

I had some frozen meatballs (store bought) in the freezer...I never buy those things I have no idea what possessed me to do so....

Linda: that's what I hear ;-)

Odat: wow - I wouldn't think they could do that. Beware of frozen stuffed clams. I know someone who got gravely ill after eating them and was in the hospital for a week.

My Stomach bypass surgeon said that within 10 years, 50% of the population both adult and teen will require the surgery, and it will be completely commonplace. That's why he and his partners have given up all other surgery in favor of this.

Even after having the surgery, I must be careful, otherwise gaining it back is possible.

MB: that's a lot of bypass surgeries
