I snapped these photos of ducks sunning themselves last August and thought they might look OK in sepia, so I gave it a whirl.

I may have posted this photo last year, but not for Tisha's Looking at the Sky on Friday meme.

I brought one of my many bunnies from my bunny collection outside Tuesday for a photo shoot. Looks like he laid a couple of eggs!
This week before Easter I have a perfect entry for a Ruby Tuesday post. Perfect to me, anyway!

From the archives - this was taken through our back window a few years ago. We're lucky to have such a lovely view of sunsets.

Today's post offers a perfect example of taking the bitter with the better. I'll explain:
In other floral news, I sadly report that our frisky felines ate the blossoms on the pretty purple potted pansy plant presented to moi by Duchess Linda last Saturday. (see photo below)
That's about it from my neck of the woods. Happy Spring to all ~
I'm trying to get back into blogging and photo memes. I've been away too long from the blogosphere.

Celebrating Ruby Tuesday...with Snoopy. He's all ready to get outside and play some baseball.

The Duchess presented me with a lovely alliterative gift: "pretty purple potted pansies for Princess Patti" to welcome spring. The Duchess and I agreed that we are both more than ready for spring to arrive.
I purposely haven't looked at Linda's blog, so I don't know if the Duchess doth posted about our get-together.
The Duchess chose cheesecake to end her meal. She liked it.
adding cheese, potatoes, ham, bacon, tomatoes...to disguise the flavor.Three women, two younger and one senior citizen, were sitting naked in a sauna.
Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The young woman pressed her forearm and the beep stopped.
The others looked at her questioningly.
"That was my pager," she said. "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm," she said.
A few minutes later, a phone rang. The second young woman lifted her palm to her ear.
When she finished, she said, "That was my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand."
The older woman felt very low-tech. Not to be outdone, she decided she had to do something just as impressive.
She stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. She returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from her rear end.
The others raised their eyebrows and stared at her.
The older woman finally said, "Well, would you look at that...I'm getting a fax."

IRISH GAS STATION
Taking a wee break from the golf course, Tiger Woods drives his new Mercedes into an Irish gas station.
An attendant greets him in typical Irish manner, unaware who the golf pro is...
"Top o' the mornin to ya".
As Tiger gets out of the car, two tees fall out of his pocket.
"So what are those things, laddie?" asks the attendant.
"They're called tees," replies Tiger.
"And what would ya be usin 'em for, now?" inquires the Irishman.
I've posted the original photo before. With the accompanying brown, dead foliage, I thought it would work well in sepia.
One of the entrances to Bushnell Park in downtown Hartford.
I like the perspective I got on one of Hartford's old churches as Ralph was stopped at a light.
OK, now the remainder were not taken from the passenger seat.

I took these photos this morning from outside the front door. Now, three hours later, the sky is all white and dreary.
This is Immanuel St. James Episcopal Church, which is on the opposite side of the Green in Derby, Ct. from the Sterling Opera House which was featured in the sepiafied photo I posted last week.
Since it snowed quite a bit here today (I think we got at least 10 inches of the white stuff) I decided to use a snow photo from my archives. It features one of my gnome friends. I love gnomes. ;-)
Last night I dreamt about walking on this Greenway, so I knew that was supposed to be my subject for Roger's creative photography meme this week.
