January beach day

Today was a good day for the beach, if you are one of those people who wants it all to yourself.
Let's just say it was cold out there.
Full disclosure: there were people walking on the nearby paved walkway. But I like these photos without anyone visible. It was rather windy, and Ralph and I didn't last too long outside, without gloves or scarves or hats. We weren't prepared for the chill.

That's excatly how I like beaches. All to myself! These are lovely. The water is so blue!

PS - 'Little lunch' was the name given to 'morning tea' when I was in primary school. I'm not sure why it was not just called Morning Tea. Maybe because children don't generally drink tea and they thought it would confuse our little brains :)

Very, very pretty! I think that's how I would prefer my beaches, too - abandoned though perhaps a tiny bit warmer!

I'll bet in a few months the beach won't be abandoned, will it?! The shots are perfect! Thanks for taking me on the walk with you...and it was nice and warm for me. No gloves needed. ;)
