Sepia Scenes ~ city cattle

I snapped this as Ralph was driving down a street in Hartford last month. We were taking Kid Two back to college.
You can see me pointing and shooting in the side-view mirror.

and the original:

To see more sepia-fied photos, visit Mary T., our hostess, at Sepia Scenes.

Would I steer you wrong?

We had these cows around Manhattan a while back, Patti. The artist I guess gets invited to place his bovine creatures around town... Walt Whitman was born on Long Island and lived there til he was 4. Then his family moved to Brooklyn, then to New Jersey. The house where he grew up is in Jersey. A real American poet! :)

Mary: that's interesting about ol' Walt, and about the the cows

The cows remind me of the horse I posted for Ruby Tuesday a couple of weeks ago. Two people left me notes about cows and now I get to see some.
The sepia gave it a more rural feel. Nicely done Patti!

I'm so behind this week I didn't do sepia scenes but I'm so glad you visited me.

Oh, the sepia really helps show the details. Love you in the mirror. And the cattle look real in sepia.

This is cool!

Our town-Ocala, Fl, had art horses on display a few years ago! I posted about them recently and a few times in the past, too.

Hey, thanks for visiting me at my place today!

I like the reflection in the rear view mirror :), and I love stumbling across things like this in unexpected places.

We had penguins in Tel Aviv a few years ago (go figure) and of course lions in Jerusalem (Lion of Judea and all that).

Ha Ha Ha! Those are defininely different from the cows that we have around here. They are a bit more warm, but most likely less cuddley!
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.

I'm glad you included the color version, that pattern is something else
although the sepia is more cattle like :)
