Photos from a picture-perfect day

I was going through some old photos yesterday and found these taken when we participated in a fund-raising walk last September. It was a beautiful morning.

They are taken along the Housatonic River between Derby and Shelton, Ct.

I like to look for the beauty in normally not-so-beautiful things, like this metal bridge.

Bonjour Patti,
How's life ? I hope that you are fine & enjoying some fine days in CT. Here ? It's very BLAH today ! That's the way it goes.
Lovely photos; you are correct that one can find beauty in the most simple places or things. And lots of sunshine always helps too !

Cheers :)

Was that the same fundraiser where you were checking out the route to see if Ralph could join you? Nice photos.

I've got to say that there is nothing like September in New England for some beautiful weather and beautiful pictures. As I was out watering my porch flowers this morning amongst the heat and humidity I got to thinking about beautiful early Fall days and, as much as I don't want to wish my life away, I hope they get here soon! Sadly, though, we need to get through the dog days of August before that and it's my least favorite month of all - next to February!

The fund raising walk must have been good with views like that to entertain while walking + it's for a good cause :)
