Sepia Scenes ~ serene

I snapped this last week on a hot and hazy afternoon. I liked the color version, not so sure if the sepia/antiquing enhances it. The fun is in the experimenting, right?

Visit Mary T's Sepia Scenes to see lots more photos in sepia tone.

So right, Patti. Playing with photos is at least half the fun. I actually like the texture of the sepia version. I'm thinking the color image would not reveal it so much. Each definitely holds its own beauty.

It looks more like a painting than a photo now, the images pop...but I imagine the color version is every bit as lovely!

M'lady, it is hard to imagine this scene as being in our suburban/urban location, we can be lost in a faraway watery place like Minnesota. To have such views near our neighborhood is nice, and nicely captured!

I like this. Patti. T me it looks like a block print in an old book.

I agree!! More often in experimenting we stumble the best on it. Like how it looks like thanks for sharing!

Yes, it's fun whenever we tweak around with all the tools in our picture program getting all sorts of results :)

My favorite thing to do besides shooting, is editing and tweaking and experimenting! I love the different shades and textures of this one! Great job.
