---> Note to self

Don't get a flat tire by running over a curb in the 90-degree noonday sun.

Bad move.

Planning another pity party for Patti today. And for my daughter, who consequently had to go without lunch.
I was attempting to pick her up from work and take her to get something to eat. After the nice man from AAA changed my tire, I was able to get lunch. But she didn't get anything. She works at a preschool so she said she would have whatever the kiddos were having for a snack.

(I know you will be reading this later Allegra, so Mumsie apologizes again.)

Ooops ...

Yeah, this was probably not a good day to be sitting by the side of the road with a flat or any other kind of car trouble but at least you had AAA and didn't have to change the flat yourself which would have made a bad situation even worse!

I'm sure Allegra understands that it wasn't your fault!

Those curbs will sneak up on ya Patti!

Thanks for the sympathy! Ralph thinks it was something in the gutter that got me.
A curb shouldn't do that much damage. I should know, I've run over a few in my day.

Oh that was too bad but at least (looking for that silver lining) you had AAA!

And thank you for stopping by .. and thank you for your comments about both my silly flower photo and my sister's sweet Ally. Much appreciated.

It must have been something more than the curb as Ralph says - I run into the curb all the time lol
the curb in front of my house is not straight and I always forget where the curve begins until I hit it.

AAA is great! I've really come to depend on them now that my car is so aged.

This heat and humidity is making me miserable.

Flat tires are not good on any day. However, knowing that Allegra was waiting for you and that it was 90 degrees outside definitely made a bad situation...worse. Hope it didn't cost too much to fix.

Don't feel too bad...you're in good company. A few years ago, Hubby hit the curb with my car as he was turning into a restaurant's driveway. The result...a flat tire. And Hubby prides himself on his driving abilities so you can imagine his shame. Things like this happen to the best of us.

You poor Princess! You should have called Bloggingham. I would have sent my servants to assist you. They would have been there in a mere a 17 hours.....
