Creative photograph

Our son, Kid Two, was born the day after Thanksgiving in 1990. Since then his birthday has fallen on turkey day three times.
This was taken in 2006, his 16th birthday.
Now it's my entry into Roger's Creative Photography contest #6.

I took a cue from other contestants and played around with the photo this week. Does that make me a copy cat? Or just a turkey?

HA! Fantastic! I had a friend in grade school who was born Christmas Day. I always felt sorry he had to share his birthday with baby Jesus, like he could ever top that.

"Today in history, Christian was born... lesser knowns also born on this day: JC... and Bob from Paducah!"

Thanks for the giggle!

Good luck! You brought your son into the world, the least he can do in return is be the reason you win a prize! ;)

That last picture is seriously scaring me. It looks like something from a bad sci-fi movie.
I'll see ya later Patti!

That confirms my thinking that the cake isn't a necessary!!! :) I've tried using cupcakes as a substitute but the turkey idea is fun!!

Love the turkey! A great way to celebrate! You should have frosted it with Mashed potatoes and gravy!

lol... love that cake. I liked your 'negative' images. They looked like some kinda alien life form! Best Wishes!

So his 18th Birthday is this year, please tell me I did the math correctly! Better be planning a big turkey ;)

I love the candles in the turkey and a few of your creative shots look a lot like my early attempts at making a turkey.

What a wonderful funny idea! I just love it. Don't think you can get much more creative than candles on a turkey.

I think it's pretty cool what you did with the picture of the turkey cake and that doesn't make you a turkey at all! More like a silly goose!

Wow, freaky turkeys! :D How innovative, tho, to use a turkey to poke your candles into, instead of a cake. :D
Thanks for the kind comment on my entry! :) Be blessed!
