Creative photograph

Poor Georges. Is he trying to get out of there, or is he just pulling the cover down to get some peace and quiet?
I snapped this in February 2004 in Paris while strolling through what Wikipedia calls the most-visited cemetery in the world, Pere-Lachaise.
Many famous people are buried there, including Frederic Chopin, Eugene Delacroix, Isadora Duncan, Marcel Marceau, Oscar Wilde, Edith Piaf, Marcel Proust, and Jim Morrison.
We visited Morrison's gravesite, which had a security guard stationed at it, but I found Georges' tombstone much more interesting!
What do you think?

This is my entry into Roger's Creative Photography contest #4. Visit Roger at Idaho Photo and join the fun! There are so many beautiful entries to look at and enjoy.

What an amazing statue! Instantly I thought of Oscar the Groiuch from Sesame Street! But this guy looks far more well-mannered!

Isn't this place a BLAST ? I haven't been here in ages. I'm not spooked by cemeteries too start because I'm a hobby genealogists. And a lot of times, you find great info on old graves.
That is just one incredible grave !

See you ;)

Even when I looked at the photo full size I couldn't see what Georges was holding in his right hand? Do you know?

It's quite a unique tombstone.

Hi, Patti! Glad you liked my photo. Here's what I told Rhonda! :D
Hi! :) You asked how I did my photo for Roger's contest. :) It's pretty easy; you select the item you want to stay colored, then hit SELECT>INVERSE. Then, hit ENHANCE>REMOVE COLOR. It SHOULD take the color out of the surrounding area. :D Then, hit SELECT>INVERSE again, to go back and adjust levels or whatever you want on your COLORED part. :)
I've actually done it with a rose as I was writing it out, so I'll be putting it on my photo blog in a bit. It's fun to do!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. :D Have a wonderful day!!!!
