I'm all about medical appointments these days

I had a mammogram yesterday before I start radiation.

Dare I make a joke and say the screening only took half as long as it used to take? Or would that be unbecoming of me?

Anyhow, I waited all afternoon for the results but no phone call. So today I wait again.

Dare, honey! DARE! LOL! Lose anything but your sense of humor and your great outlook on life!

I have a friend who contracted Polio at the age of 4 and spent the next 10 years living and being operated on at the Crippled Children's Hospital. She's had all sorts of other physical stuff bad luck happen to her since then. She jokes about herself all the time! She absolutely hates it when people get all PT about everything. She'll be the first to tell you that, "I am not 'Physically Challenged' or 'Handicapped' or 'Special Needs' or any other PT phrase you may want to call it... Honey, if I am anything I am horizontally GIFTED!"

big hugs xoxo
