I so agree with you about it being over way too soon! Fall needs to last much longer than it does but I'm afraid that with the way the wind is blowing tonight, it will be over even sooner as a good majority of leaves will be all over the ground. Sigh ...
These are pretty foliage shots. I like October, too! November does get rather dreary, when it's not cold enough to snow but it is cold us to make us shiver.
I only had to go out the back door to get this foliage shot last Sunday afternoon.
It's sad that October is almost over. It's such a beautiful time of year.
