2 old 2 text

I think that's the problem. Or else I'm 2 impatient.

Yesterday I attempted to text our daughter to pass the time on our hour-long drive to a family get-together. Well, it took me about 20 minutes to send her a seven-word message.

Talk about trial and error!

Is it me, or do other middle-aged people have trouble with this texting stuff?

Well, I have finally got used to texting. My daughters keep saying you need to use the t-9 which you spell the words out just like you would normally and it automatically comes up. I try and sometimes the words aren't in the dictionary, and then I have to find the symbols that I want and it really is a pain. I can only use one hand. I think I need a different more upgraded phone. he!
It's fun though. ;) You will get the hang of it.

I have never sent a text message - not once! and I don't want to.

I want to go back to the day without cell phones.

Far too much reaching out going on ;)

I personally hate it. But I believe it has to do a lot to do with the phone. they m ake some now just like a keyboard. Both my girls do not talk on the phone. they just text. dumb...

I'm with Bee, I always spell out every word and refuse to write in "text jargon" - heck, I even use the right punctuation!

I've definitely gotten better at it over the past year but I'm sure I'm nowhere near as good as Amanda when it comes to banging out the texts quickly!
