Saturday night out

All quiet here Sunday afternoon. Last night my husband and I went out and saw live entertainment, a musical, at a regional theater for which we have a subscription.

We know the owners and they are fantastic. They have been teaching theater arts to children, teens and young adults for many moons and have an incredible way of getting young people to stretch their talents in acting, singing and dancing.

Bravo!

Hello Patti,

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment!

I like your picture of Humphrey, he is cute.

Have a great Sunday.

I have a new acquaintance. Her name is Sari (rhymes with Mary.)

Thanks for the Humphrey compliment.

I've been blogging for four weeks and it is most enjoyable.

Sounds like you had an enjoyable time. Are either Kid One or Kid Two involved in theater arts? Twelve wants to act...I keep telling her to stop acting like a twelve year old and to try acting like an adult. lol

Lynn - Both of them were involved in acting classes and summer theater camp with the aforementioned teachers/directors when they were younger. And they loved it.

Acting is a great activity for kids to get into, in my opinion. They learn poise, etc. while having fun.

I think local theater arts events are terrific. We just spent the day at a play based on a famous murder which occurred at one of the mansions in the area during the 1930's. It was quite entertaining as we strolled from room to room watching the actors portraying these prominent people.

That sounds really fun, Joan.

Nothing like live theater.
