"My Funny Valentine" (with apologies to Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart)

It's one of my all-time favorite songs, because dear husband and I met two weeks before Valentine's Day in 1985.

And it was kinda love at first (or maybe second) sight.

Sigh.

Reading your post made me realize that my husband and I don't have "a song." Now I feel cheated. I guess we should choose something like the "Theme from Chariots of Fire" since we met at a running shoe store. Yes, I know the song has no lyrics but it's a nice melody. :~)

I remember back, before kids, I had lots of "favorite" songs...now I usually just get to listen to Radio Disney... sigh.

Lynn - You can still have a favorite song....just take a minute and remember the good old days. It will come to you.

Joan - do I have to remind you about The Beatles ?
the possibilities are endless
