Me and my snowpeople

Snowmen are not just decorations for the Christmas season, says I.

They are good to decorate with through mid-March, says I. We get snow until then, so why not?

I thought I'd share some of my collection of snow guys and gals, in honor of an impending snowstorm tomorrow.

I took the photo below on Christmas morning. I was rejoicing because Christmas Eve had brought us rainy, yucky weather and the sun was a welcome sight.

This is Rigby, whose image has been figuring into a lot of my posts lately. He and the two snowfellas are looking out the window on a cold night.

This guy has a birdhouse, and a pail to hold his snowbaby.
The last one is blurry, but I still think they are cute. The one on the right is a tea light candle holder.
Notice the snowy backyard in the background...brrrrrrrrr.

I have more, but I think I'll stop now. You have probably gotten the idea that I like snowmen.
Happy shoveling, if you get some of the wonderful, white, wintry stuff like we are going to get.

Your snowfolks are lovely but I'd rather you didn't have an occasion to post them. Another snowstorm is not exactly what I wanted for this week but I guess there's no stopping Mother Nature and Old Man Winter when they team up, is there?

I'm just hoping I don't have to call the Calvary to bring me into work tomorrow morning - again!

Ici, à Paris, les bonshommes de neige n'apparaissent que sous forme de décoration comme les tiennes. Nous devons quitter Paris et sa chaleur (peut-être devrais-je dire : pollution) pour voir de vrais bonshommes de neige.

Mimi: Well, good for you! That's my kind of decorating.

Linda: I hear you, and the snow is going to turn to ice later in the day, it sounds like. I hope we are close enough to the coast for just rain. I hope!

Queenie: I probably will have them up for months.

Catherine: J'ai oublie' le mot pour snowman ~ bonhomme de neige. Merci!

Your snowmen are awesome. My hubby loves them as well and we started collecting them in our early years and then that sorta fizzled out... hmm... but you have a some nice photos here!
I love the one with Rigby... that's adorable!
