Monday morning minutia

This week isn't starting out well. It's about 10 below zero outside, the coffeemaker seems to have gasped its last caffeinated gasp, and I burned the toast.

The toaster is on its way out too, I think. Dang appliances!

So how is your Monday going?

On a lighter note, here's another vintage Christmas greeting from me to you.

Christmas cheer. That's what I need.

Ask Santa for a new toaster and coffee maker.

Oh dear ... bad appliance timing is not a good thing! Perhaps Santa will bring you a new coffee maker?

And as far as it being cold goes - you are SO right! I have to take Jamie down to the mall in Waterford (near the Olive Garden we met at) later on for an eye exam (her Dad has not gotten her one since 7th grade and she really needs new glasses) but I am NOT looking forward to going out in this cold. Brrr!!

Hope it all turns out better than it began

I am sitting at work trying not to tense up and make the back spasms begin again

Sorry about the coffeepot and toaster. If it had happened to me, I'd have a NEW pot for tomorrow morning ;--)

Hope your day went better as it went along. I've got MOST of my cards personalized ... envelopes addressed ... stuffed and dropped off at the Post Office. I have about a dozen more but will do them early tomorrow moring and drop them off at the main post office when it opens.

Hugs and blessings,
