The setting sun gave a lovely warm glow to our feline friend, Linus, and I had to take a photo or two of the shadows.
See lots more shadowy photos at Shadow Shot Sunday 2.
I'm not going to complain that it's 6 degrees here this morning.
Nope. Not me.
That's because I always complain about the heat and humidity in the summer, and I don't want to be a two-season complainer.
Soon it will be time to layer up for the day.
At least the sun is shining. And the furnace works fine. And we have lots of blankets and throws. And our Linus kitty is always available to pet, which helps to warm up my semi-frozen fingers and hands. =^.^=
In other news, my Christmas cactus started to bloom! Let's hope Linus doesn't eat the blossoms.
I turned around a few minutes ago when I was working and this is what I saw: Linus checking out a bag that our new printer was packed in. We think he likes it.
Linus enjoying the morning sunshine today... I was going to use a lighthouse photo for Shadow Shot Sunday but when I got up this morning I found our Linus "posing" for a shadow photo.
I'll save the lighthouse for a future post. ;-)
Join the fun and see lots more shadows from across the globe at our awesome Aussie friend Tracy's fun photo meme on her Hey Harriet blog.
There's nothing like being dissed by your kitty cat first thing in the morning. After he spent the night on the bed with us (per usual) now Linus won't even look at me.
Linus jumped out from under this tunnel plaything right after I took the photo. He uses his imagination and amuses himself....when he's not napping, that is.
Soon he will be ready for preschool, don't you think?
I took this picture in West Hartford, Ct. and was thinking of using it for Thursday's Yard Art meme. But it came out well in sepia, so here it is.
The bear was on the lawn in front of an art gallery where our blog friend Linda had a photograph on exhibit in April. Ralph and I went to the reception and you can read about our afternoon here.
This was the scene in front of me moments ago as I was writing this post. Somebody wants his supper. He is making little squeaky noises at me.
