Shadow Shot Sunday

Our daughter Allegra graduated from the University of Hartford last Sunday. I already used this photo in one of my many posts this past week about her graduation, but Ralph's shadow was too good not to use for Shadow Shot Sunday, so here it is again.

~ After the festivities were over.

I snapped these photos as we were walking back to the parking lot. Allegra says she still can't believe she has a bachelor's degree, almost a week of decompressing later.
Now if she only had a job.

See many more shadow-filled photos at our awesome Aussie friend Tracy's Hey Harriet blog and join in the shadow shot fun.

And thank goodness that you had a nice sunny day on graduation to get those Shadow Shots - with the way our New England weather has been going it could have been raining and cold instead but instead you got a beautiful day all around in so many ways!

I've just left a comment on Ralph's blog to say I love Allegra's name - so much more interesting than my plain Anne! Glad you had such a lovely day.

There is nothing like being a parent witnessing your child's graduation. I know that feeling of pride and love only too well. Congratulations to you, Ralph and Allegra.

I love the 2nd shot. You can almost hear the Pomp and Circumstance and feel the excitement!

A job. Yes. Very important. But she's allowed some time to find her rhythm again. Right? =0)

Love that shadow of Ralph and all of those empty chairs make for fun shadow shots too!

Have yourself a great week Patti :)

Shadows are good; I love the shade from the trees on the abandoned chairs. Jobs are also good, I hope Allegra finds one soon!

I like these Shadow Shots a lot! Congrats (again) to Allegra---hopefully 4 years of college has prepared her for life in "the real world" and the job will be found quickly! Empty chairs sitting on the lawn are really a cool shot.
