Extra! Extra!
I am thinking I missed the boat today. I could have been one of the many extra wannabes headed into the Elm City with hopes of being in the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" series.
What was I thinking? I could have been standing in line right this very minute for the chance to be in the background when a car chase is filmed through the Yale campus later this summer.
This would have been good therapy for me, to help me start thinking outside the box. And it would have provided interesting fodder for a future blog post as well.
But instead I am doing what I am supposed to be doing, sitting here getting ready for work.

I would've gone if Harrison was there!
I'm still kicking myself 20 years later for missing out on a U2 video shoot in LA...if something like this comes up and you want to go, you should GO!! (not work!) :-)
ah, well...too late now.
It was probably a mad house anyway;~) It's funny, part of me wants to say I'd go if Harrison Ford was there, but where I live, there are many star sightings...and if truth be told, they're not all that exciting.
I'm not into star sightings. It would be fun to be in the background of the film though.
They are not all that exciting now that we are old. Ask Lynn and Joan about driving 95mph on freeway chasing Neil Diamond after his Hot August night Concert in 1972 when we were all young and stupid.
glad you all survived that at 95 mph!
Wait a minute...I was an innocent passenger in the car, and my wonderful cousin was the one driving like a maniac...shhhh don't tell my mom!
don't worry, Lynn, your secret is safe with me.
You must have only been 9 years old at the time!
or maybe you were 10 ???
well it WOULD have been a good blog!
smiles, bee
Bee: True, but no regrets. On to making more seals...
Lynn, I don't think any of us ever told mom or Auntie E how we chased Neil's car that night and we were young but old enough to know better.
You and Joan have to admit it was an absolute blast doing that and also that we were the only 2 cars on the freeway at that unGodly hour. How times have changed. Now it's bumper to bumper no matter what the hour is.
You mean I could have pointed and said things during the move like 'I know that extra! I know that extra!!'
You are a responsible soul, Patti. But it's never too late to be reckless.
Go for it.
Moose: Glad I don't live in bumper to bumper land. ;-)
Michael: yes, it's one of those missed opportunities in life.
Mimi: I am responsible, 'tis true,
but if I decide to change my ways, look out world.
