Sepia scenes

Regular readers will know where I spotted his great old photograph. It was at my hairdresser's shop, which I have featured in numerous posts over the past 10 days. ;-)

She has lots of vintage stuff around and it's a most interesting place to visit and take pictures.

Maureen said this is a photo of her aunt, now 97, back in the day. She said her aunt didn't drive, she was just posing.

And that's her aunt's father, Maureen's grandfather, in the back, keeping a close eye on his daughter!

Ruby Tuesday

This is another one of the pix I took at a car show we went to in July at the Shelton (Ct.) History Center.

Someone had carved a likeness of Paul Bunyan to use as part of the display featuring "Little Red."

I hesitated to use this photo because it is a bit off-kilter. I must have been in a hurry to get out of the direct sun!

Reflections on a Sunday afternoon

We went to a classic car show yesterday that was a fund-raiser for the Shelton (Ct.) Historical Society.
The annual event was supposed to be held on Father's Day, but was postponed because of rain. Fortunately yesterday was bright and sunny, and a lot of people turned out to view vintage vehicles.

We took a bunch of photos, and Ralph will be posting some of them soon. I also have a couple that are perfect candidates for Ruby Tuesday posts.


I like this photo I snapped featuring a reflection of Ralph and Allegra looking at a 1948 Jaguar.
