Ruby Tuesday ~ flowery

Pretty perennials push past pesky weeds (!) to brighten my small flower garden on a hot summer afternoon. I think these are a variety of day lily.
Happy Ruby Tuesday!

Those are pretty flowers for the Late Bloomer<+I> Blog.

Ours along the property line are mixed with weeds too. The neighbor lady had her 'man' cut some of those weeds out for us.

Hey Patti, here is my recipe for my Chicken Potato Veggie Soup for the Soul and Stomach . Do click on the 'super size' link to the recipe picture.
Since this post I have had to omit the corn because I am not allowed to eat it. Next time I make it I may substitute hominy.
It is easy to make and real good to take to sick people.

I loved your alliteration of 'p' words!
I still have one orange lily blooming but I think it's almost finished.

I like the idea of late bloomers..
Aren't we all?
Your lily is a beauty, enhanced by some petty weeds.

My RT is posted. And just above is a unscientific poll you may want to cast your 'vote'. Happy Tuesday.

Very pretty. Late bloomers are always nice, especially when the others are finished.
