Ruby Tuesday * repost *

Ruby Tuesday ~ Christmas angels

Our daughter in 1994. I spy a new Polly Pocket there!

Our son on Christmas Eve in 1996. He looks rather scared, but maybe he's just anticipating Santa Claus' arrival.

My mother's "retro" angel candlesticks from the 1950s. They weren't retro at the time though. They were up-to-date decorations.
If only I had gotten some red taper candles to put in the holders to add to my Ruby Tuesday post.
But alas, my holiday disorganization continues.

To see more Ruby Tuesday entries, visit our hostess, Mary T, The Teach.
Thanks, Mary!

Sending wishes to all for a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah ~

Your daughter looks very happy with her new Polly Pocket; my daughter loves those. So nice that you have something of your mother's that you treasure. Yes, they would look pretty with candlesticks.

Your children must have lots and lots of happy Christmas memories.
Parent job well done!
I'm old enough to remember the angles.
They are still sweet, mirroring that optimistic and innocent time.
Merry Christmas to you.

I seem to recognize these cute kids. Aren't they featured on someone else's blog too? :-)

I didn't realize Polly Pockets had been around that long - my daughter loves them too.

Merry Christmas, and may the light in their eyes be just as bright now that they're celebrating Christmas as adults.

Merry Christmas, Patti. I'm sure the kids will look just as happy this year on Christmas morning as they did way back then. ;-)

I remember angels like those retro ones.
