Ruby Tuesday~ through the passenger window

Why, it's Bowl-a-Rama!
Ralph and I love the retro look of this place along the Berlin Turnpike in Connecticut. Reminds us of our childhoods, I suppose.

See many more photos featuring red by visiting Mary T, The Teach, at Work of the Poet.

It does have the retro look. That red roof line reminds me of a diner.
I haven't been bowling in years but I used to love it.
Nice shot Patti!

The oval shape gives it a sort of movie-like look. Now we can jump into the oval and go bowling, too.

Cool catch.
The red shed stands out from all the dim gray/blue and just cries for attention.

I miss bowling just like I miss golfing and all those other things that I can't do anymore because of my bad back.

Just thought I'd throw that out there!

I like the addition of the vignette - gives it that extra bit of vintage feeling.

Amazing that diners like that still exist. Or they become cultural monuments. I went back to an area were I grew up and the only landmark that I could recognize was a diner like that one. Everything else was either torn down or rebuilt or changed.
Best wishes

Must be the red awning and the simple lines. I like it - it does look like where we bowled/shopped as kids.

I have discovered you get some of the best shots through the passenger window. This is great, takes me back a few years for sure!
