We picked up our daughter this afternoon at the University of Hartford and I spied this great shadow on the side of the Hartt School of Music. I took a quick shot through the windshield.
Below are November shadows playing on the on-campus apartment building where Allegra lives.

Isn't it funny how once you start blogging, everything becomes a possible blog post in one way, shape, or form? I bet before you'd look at those shadows and never think about taking a picture of them but now - ahha! It's a post! :-)
shadows fascinate me...

Buildings are a great canvas for shadows. nice job.
The best thing I like about your phtos that you found beauty in every day life around us
"Moonlight becomes you" is my contribution!
Nice shadows, I can see that fall is well unerway in your part of the world.
What a beautiful name for your daughter.
I appreciate your comment, we can't all make big changes the idea is to think about conservation and do what we can.
Did you take her out to eat? That was the first thing our daughter wanted whenever we went to her college..? GG... Lovely shadows...
Lucky daughter - what a beautiful college and what a beautiful part of the world.
What an interesting contrast! In the first photo there's so much colour in the trees, and the second one they're completely bald! I'm sure it's only temporary baldness. Gorgeous shadow shots!
I love those grand university buildings and the shadows are very fine too! Well spotted!!
Really nice pics! The shot through your windshield is really clear. Now I have to go outside and wash my windshield....hehehe
Come and find out on how to become tall at my page.
Ahhh...the colors of Autumn, they never fail to bring a smile!
