Sepia Scenes ~ our church

First Congregational Church, Derby, Ct.

I took this photo on a Sunday morning in February. I'm pretty sure I posted the original with the sparkling clear blue sky back then. I'm not up for looking back in the archives! I don't know how the evergreen tree came out almost gray in this sepia-fied version.

To join in the fun, visit Mary T, our hostess, at Sepia Scenes.

I must say that old New England churches look quite nice in sepia - even if the trees around it are a bit gray!

Those old New England churches really did mark many towns! This brings back childhood memories of drives.

This turned out really well in the sepia. What a majestic scene!

Hope you are doing well.

It often happens, that graying effect, when you use Curves in photo-editing. Maybe that what happened, Patti... :) Come by my blog "Work of the Poet" for an award I have for you. :)

The church looks lovely against the sky with the trees around it in sepia :)
