Helpful cooking hint #6

When using a spoon rest while cooking, make sure you take advantage of the long handle on it. That is supposed to be where the spoon rests.

For some reason I have been wrongly using it upside down, putting the spoon on the fat end with the handle ending up on the counter.

I'll be OK.

i broke my beautiful blue willow spoon rest. that made me sad. now i have a silly plastic one with a stupid chicken on it...

That reminds me, I still haven't unpacked my spoon rest since we moved way back in January!

Hope you're doing okay in this dreadful heat and humidity we are having. When I walked out of work at 11:30 tonight, I think it was more humid when I went in at 3:00 and it felt like I was walking through a sauna then. I hope this stuff breaks soon!!
