Ruby Tuesday ~ hoping for blooms

I bought this mixed planter the other day. I hope the red geranium buds bloom. I'm not sure what the delicate pink flowers are called.

And below you can see that I moved the planter to show off our "sun-dappled, freshly mowed front yard." It's such a novelty to see the sun around here. Wouldn't you know that two hours later the sun had disappeared again?

To see many more photos with a little or a lot of red in them visit Mary T, The Teach, at Work of the Poet.

Hi Patti--It seems that your planter is going to be nice. Did you buy it full of plants? This is new to me.
Your lawn looks nice too, I am glad you could find the weather nice enough to mow.
Happy RT! :-)

I'm staring at the lovely pink flowers and hoping someone will identify them, because I love 'em!

Yes, we had forgotten what the sun looks like in June.

These look much better than mine right now. We had a lot of rain.. until a week ago and now everything is wilting in the heat... and my sprinkler system is out of commission. So it looks like a manual watering is in order. Good luck with those.

Your planter is going to be lovely. I'm a fan of red geraniums.

I love red geraniums but I haven't planted any for a while. Maybe I'll head out to the nursery this week and pick up a few ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

I love the sun play on the grass.
It pulls me into the photo and makes me want to lie down and feel the sun kiss my closed eyelids.

It was very nice to see the sun out and about today and even better when the humidity cleared up a little bit. It was such a lovely evening I went out and mowed the lawn even though it could have gone another day or two but I didn't want to run the risk of the rain returning!

I bet your planter looks really nice before too long!

Hi Patti,
I'm so late getting around this week.
Geraniums have always been my favorite. When I lived in Virginia it was all I had and I had some up until Christmas most years. Here in WV the deer like them. :)
