As any regular reader of this blog knows (all three of you), I love Paris.This is my favorite of all the photos I took when I was in Paris in '05. I had to show it off.
That's the river Seine, boys and girls, and you can see part of the magnificent gothic cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris, on the left.
I sound like a tour guide! Someday I will return...

Ah Paris....I wish I had better memories. While the city was certainly one of the most beautiful I experienced when in Europe many years ago, I would have loved it even more had I not encountered all the nasty residents while there. Oh well..
I backpacked for 11 weeks one summer throughout Europe...never made it to Paris. Your picture makes me wish that I had. C'est la vie!

Joan -I met a lot of nice people...the shopkeepers and others were down to earth, regular folks.
