Santa Claus visited our house early ~

When I was busy working yesterday, Santa snuck into the house. Ho Ho Ho

Much to my delight that Jolly Old Elf (or was it Airhead 55?) brought with him just what I wanted: a new Canon point-and-shoot camera to replace the one that died Sunday.

The panic is over. I mean, what self-respecting blogger can properly blog without a digital camera at hand?

I am back to taking photos of anything and everything and posting them.

Sun sets on Sunday snow

Since our camera no longer works, Kid One came to the rescue yesterday and took some photos of the new fallen snow as the sun was setting. She did a great job. Here you can see we didn't stack up the patio chairs and table before the snow.

* Happy winter to all *

The day the camera died

I was going to take some photos this morning of the foot or so of *s*n*o*w* we now have on the ground, but it wasn't to be.
Our much-used Canon point and shoot has bitten the dust. :-(

Maybe Santa will bring us a new camera. I'm hoping.

Money is just a tool, he tells me - Part 2

As anyone who knows my husband and me is aware, we love each other and actually think alike much of the time. Safe to say we get along well, like two peas in a pod.
Having gotten those niceties out of the way, I will press on.
Ralph is currently unemployed, yet he just purchased a camera for the four of us to enjoy. EEK.
I admit it's very nice. It's a Canon. I tried it out. I like. And the old one was not working well at all any more.
Here is a photo taken this morning of our first tiger lily of the summer.
Usually they bloom in early August...

I am trying to take this unemployment status in my stride. We've been down this road before and survived.
But if it were up to me, I wouldn't have plunked down $$$ right now for a camera.
But that's just me.
