Shadow Shot Sunday ~ fruity

It's Saturday morning here, which means it's Shadow Shot Sunday time ...
Now that statement could confuse someone not in the know!

One sunny morning this week I spotted this shadow when I put a colander of blueberries on the table.

You can see lots more shadow shots (much more interesting than this one!) at our awesome Aussie friend Tracy's Hey Harriet blog. Check them out!

The blueberries in the colander are rich with antioxidants, which are good for us. The shadows add an artistic look at breakfast, style and good health area great pairing. The best to you each morning!

Light and shadows make for great pictures. I liked the pattern the colander made - enjoy eating the blueberries:)

A beautiful shadow created by something so mundane and ordinary. Blueberries sound good. Happy SSS!

I see the colander, but I don't see a single blueberry--boo hoo!

IF I HAD A SHADOW

If I had a shadow as big as the sky,
I never would fear, and I’ll tell you why:

My shadow would save me from dragons and things
That fly in the night with terrible wings;

My shadow would keep me away from the beast
That sniffs in the west and sniffs in the east

Hungry for children who play all alone,
Hoping to feast upon blood, upon bone;

My shadow would be my protector and knight
To keep fear at bay, to banish all fright.

I’m so glad my shadow is always nearby,
Though it’s not nearly as big as the sky!

Lovely Shadow Shot. The blueberries didn't seem to block the sun from creating lovely shadows. I love it when I find shadows while doing everyday things. Shadows are fun and sharing them is even more fun.

Good eye for shadows, Patti. This is a wonderful shot!

So I guess I'm too late for the blueberries. I bet they were tasty!
