Sepia scenes ~ after the snow

We had an unexpected snowfall last week. It had been billed as snow "showers." It didn't drop a lot of precipitation, but it was just enough that I had to sweep the driveway with a push broom. Easier on the back than shoveling!

Here you see some lovely "flowers" in my garden. They look rather tired, don't you think?

Yep, they do look tired - much like myself whenever I look in the mirror these days! I think that winter just seems to suck the life out of us sometimes. Maybe the bears have the right idea and we should all just go to sleep and wake up when it's warmer!

Tired or not, they look great in sepia :)

Snow showers? Now that's different! We get snow flurries here that have to be shoveled. To my mind, that's more than flurries.

I love the first one Patti!
It looks like little stick figures swaying about with their little arms moving to the rhythm.
Snow's in our forecast for this weekend - anywhere from 5-10 inches. We'll see. I'll let you know if I need your push broom or shovel. :)

We STILL have snow in the back yard from the weekend. I guess tomorrow's and Friday's 80 & 90% chances of rain will surely get rid of it.

Aren't you ready for spring?! They look tired...just like me!

I love that last shot! It is so perfect in it's compostition. I love the spiky texture of the sleeping plant against the soft white snow. Very well done!

If it helps, it's freezing and rainy here today. Not exactly blue skies and anemone weather - rain and sleet here and even snow up in the mountains.

I hope Ralph is recuperated after that miserable drive to get the van fixed.

I like the spiky plants against the whiteness of the snow as well. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
