NO...not my legs or other areas.
I do that routinely.
Rather, my quickly balding scalp. These strands of hair are bothering the crap out of me. They fall out and stick to my skin and clothing.
I guess it's time for a buzz.
Any thoughts?
(And so my online cancer journey journal continues)

I think you should do whatever you want
my thoughts are do it - I have been told it's liberating
and you'll feel cooler under the hats or maybe a wig if you go that route
also - hatsandheadscarves.com has a video on how to tie a scarf into a pretty head covering along with a resonably priced collection of hats and scarves
I helped my aunt with this recently, she's battling her second round in 7 years and winning :)
hugs
I think you've already decided... It's just a matter of when to do it. Only you know what's right for you. Of course, you could pretend you're a rocker and go punk! You can totally rock that look!
Personally, I love short hair. With the oppressive heat and humidity we have here I've often thought of buzzing mine all off. I'm not too far from it anyway. When I first get my hair cut it's only an inch to 2 inches, and nearly shaved in the back. The bad part about having short hair is how quickly it grows back and how often you have to go have it cut again. Mine lasts less than 3 weeks.
Mostly, you need to stay focused on the battle to kick cancer's butt so you can go back to living life on your terms. A nice scarf or a cute little hat could be your battle helmet!
big hugs xo
I agree with Barb, I think you've decided, now you just need to get thee to the salon to get 'er done!
Having lived with a teenager who has had parts of her head shaved done to almost nothin' several times over I'm rather used to seeing women with much shorter hair. Besides, think how much fun Ralph will have rubbing your fuzzy head! You'll probably find you quite enjoy it, too!
And anyway, with your brilliant smile ain't no one going to notice the top of your head anyway!!
i can tell you sarge shaved his but of course that's much different. if it were me i would though!
hugs, bee

When my aunt got to that point, she had my uncle shave it. She said it was just the right time, and she was truly excited to try out her new blonde wig.
Think of it as no longer delaying the inevitable.
Stay strong, stay positive... STAY COOL!!!
