How can posts just disappear? I'd say to contact Blogger but it will be 2 weeks before they reply and even then it will be an annoying automated response which won't be helpful at all.

Change the password on Blogger just in case and then repost the pictures and see what happens. Sounds like leprechauns are playing tricks on you!
