That first picture looks like little frozen arms reaching up towards the sun from the railing!
Linda is right, the first pic does look like little frozen arms reaching up! And the icicles are gorgeous -- even though it does look sooooo cold, the sunlight is delightful! Really great shadow shots for the day, Patti! Hope your weekend is going well! Stay warm!Sylvia
Yes, brrrrrr. Literally very COOL ShadowShots!! I remember as a kid in NE PA.pulling icicles off the gutters to eat. Yuk!!

Love those icicles with the bright blue sky in the background! Those icicles could be dangerous if a large one snapped off in hit you in the head! I'm wondering if that happens often. I guess clever people wouldn't stand beneath them :)Enjoy the rest of your weekend Patti!
Yes, what Linda said. Brrr. It's cold enough for snow and ice here, but thankfully we had no precipitation... just freezing cold temperatures.
Oh lordy!!! Cold, winter, icy and frigid....not my kinda living, but still oh so beautiful.Selena Statue on the Bayhttp://hootin--anni.blogspot.com/2011/01/along-bay-she-stands-tall-and-proud.htmlHope your day is a happy one.
