Urban fireworks in Derby, Ct.
Ralph watching urban fireworks.
I spied Ralph's shadow in front of the Valley Arts Council's Gallery@37 before the fireworks started.
As you can see I had trouble with lighting.
Fuzzy photos ~ but I saw some shadows and snapped same.
Join in the fun and see shadowy photos taken all over the world at Shadow Shot Sunday 2.

Love the color you got in your first one.
We made do with walking around the our neighborhood and enjoyed watching little ones have fun.
I've always suspected that Ralph was a shadowy character. Your photos prove it! :)
I'm LOLing at MMT's comment! Sorry, Ralph, but now you have to 'own it'!
Shady indeed! I also love the way in which these images were taken. Whether it was an accident or intentional-it is fabulous!
So love the mystical atmosphere in that beautiful first photo! And the shadowy Ralph oozes character!
I didn't think you had trouble with lighting, I actually thought you had added some edits to get the dreamy quality
these shots are beautiful Patti
a week of fireworks...great shots patti. your fuzziness is what many strive for in adding actions to their photo...you may have started something here.
I think night shots are very hard to take. It's one of many goals for this year to learn to take better night shots. Having said that, I think these photos are very good.
Magical Mystical Teacher is funny, isn't she? :))
I think the shadow photo of your dear Ralph is perfect. And the firework image is incredible.
