Change of pace: Going out for the evening

This was the view when we left last night's annual dinner meeting of the Center for Disability Rights in West Haven, Ct. It was lovely out, no heat or humidity.
The lights are from New Haven Harbor. I think it looks rather romantic.

There are always lots of folks walking on this paved pathway along the beach.
It's a popular destination for exercise and relaxation.

Here is almost the same view, four hours earlier.

I love the dramatic clouds!

* Bonus photo: Blurry, yes, but I think we look pretty happy together. We are happy, aren't we Ralph?

I'd be even happier with a new camera.

I thank the woman at our table who offered to snap a photo of us. I wouldn't have thought to ask her.

Oh, I think you look quite happy indeed! And why not?! You have each other and a lovely family!

Blurry or not, this is a great photo of a couple facing hardships by the boat load but smiling and happy and...IN LOVE.
I so admire the both of you. Your attitudes are so good...you both always have such nice things to say to all us bloggers.

So glad you had a good time.

My best friend is battling colon cancer...about ready to take the chemo treatments and I am so heartsick for her. She wants to go buy a wig before she loses her hair...aren't scarves and such much more comfortable? I suppose she will have both, tho.
She is in for a long fight...but on the up side...out of the 24 lymph nodes they took, only 6 came back positive. That IS a good sign, isn't it?

first time here! so I infer that you are battling cancer...so sorry
I love that you showed day and night shots of the same scene. The night one is indeed romantic and serene.

Love the cloud shot but then again, I seem to be quite attracted to clouds and take way too many pictures of them myself!

You and Ralph look very happy together and your hair looks GREAT! I'm just wondering though, if you look that happy now with your old camera how much happier could you possibly look happier?

I'm pretty sure none of that made any sense but I'll go ahead and leave it as I'm too lazy to compose a whole new comment!
