Friends, foliage and no whining

So I wrote a post yesterday afternoon about my crazy week, but didn't hit publish.

It was another in my continuing series of online journal entries about this breast cancer journey.

But it sounded way too whiny (overworked and exhausted was the theme) so I canned it.

In other news, for the two or three of you who read this who know our friend Linda, I am awaiting her arrival to pick me up for our second annual fall foliage trip!

Woo hoo! I don't know how she does it. She just returned last night from a trip to the White Mountains.

I hope we find some color north of here ~ there is still way too much green on the trees here in southern Connecticut.

Hoping to be posting some beautiful photos next time.
Happy Saturday to all!

Jealous. I AM!

Have a blast and take lots of passenger photos! Take the kind where you actually get out of the car, too!

Big hugs xoxo

honey you should publish your feelings, it's your journal after all. that's how you can go back and remember the journey when you are all better and feeling great!

I totally agree with what Bee said; don't worry at all about it sounding whiny because it doesn't. And even if it does, so what? You have cancer, you're allowed to whine!

I, however, am now going to whine about having done all of that searching today and finding hardly any color other than green. Of course, I had a great time regardless of what color we did or didn't find and when was the last time you could say you were in four different states on the same day??

I think whining is part of being real. It allows you to be free to be you. Those moments come and go, and you are allowed to admit they exist.

It's YOUR journal. And anybody who acts as though life is all sunshine and flowers is sniffing too much manure(lol)

((hugs))
