Out of the rubble

It's me and Ralph on May 10, 1986 ~ 'twas a splendid day.
Today I retrieved this photo from the rubble of what once was my mother's living room.
At least you can still see our faces.

I also retrieved some charcoal-broiled figurines. I must say that after a while, sentimental value starts to lose its luster, if you know what I mean.
I guess you could say I'm dreaming of a large Dumpster...

Your dress was beautiful and even though the picture is damaged that doesn't change the fact that you can see the love and happiness so evident on your face and Ralph's. Even if the picture didn't stand the test of time, your love has!

Chin up, Princess!

I couldn't even imagine sifting through rubble and finding mementos such at these. Kind of pulls at the heartstrings a little... but all in all, it's only material things as I know you heard a bazillion times already, life was spared, but still sad somewhat!

That is a darling picture of the two of you. Your Ralph is dashing and you look divine.
